The POSITIVE Campaign is a community impact project designed to highlight and encourage more HIV/AIDS testing in the Black and Black Queer Communities. Secondary goals promote understanding, empathy and foster education that eliminates stigma and debunks myths. Each volunteer wears a shirt with the word POSITIVE which becomes a prompt for discussion. A POSITIVE test result is negatively connoted and this project aims to provide a counter narrative. Used as an education tool, the project aims to facilitate conversation in public spaces to prompt more empathetic dialogue particularly as it relates to the Black and Black queer communities.
